Germain Seligman (1893-1978), art dealer and writer, joined his father's company, Jacques Seligman & Co, Inc., in 1920 as a partner and president of the New York office. Upon the death of his father in 1923, Germain took over as president of both the Paris and New York offices. His 1969 Roger de la Fresnaye catalogue raisonné follows from his earlier 1945 monograph on the artist.
